As with any rigid diet plan, you may have some side effects with the hCG weight loss plan. But, when comparing the hCG diet with others, the results are far better with the hCG plan. Side effects also vary as to whether you’re giving yourself injections of the hCG hormone as opposed to taking the oral drops or pills.

Some common side effects while on the hCG diet are:

• Headaches – If you have headaches, it’s usually during the first week of the diet and hCG hormone therapy. Since the diet is very low in calories, you may experience mild headaches until the hCG hormone takes full effect.

• Irritability – This is also sometimes experienced during the first week of the diet plan and soon goes away.

• Light-headedness – Another symptom of a low calorie diet that usually subsides after the first week.

• Inflammation or bruising at injection site – If you’re giving yourself the hCG hormone injections, be sure you know how. You may want to seek help from a physician or nurse to perform the injections or consider taking the hormone in oral drop or pill form.

Compared to other weight loss plans, the hCG diet has very few side effects. Some side effects of other diet plans you may have heard of are:

Atkins Diet – The Atkins Diet consists of high-fat foods and giving up most foods that contain carbohydrates. Some unpleasant side effects that may occur are fatigue, insomnia, nausea, dizziness, constipation and bad breath.

This high fat diet may also place you at higher risk for heart disease and nutritional deficiencies that could cause serious health problems later on such as kidney problems and bone diseases.

Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem Diet Plans – These similar plans require you to purchase expensive, pre-packaged meals – so one side effect could be a lower bank balance – especially if you’re still having to grocery shop for a family.

Also, it’s difficult to maintain the weight loss after you stop purchasing their pre-portioned products. Consultants at Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem aren’t required to be proficient in health or nutrition, so you may run the risk of getting some bad advice.

South Beach Diet – The basis of the South Beach Diet plan concentrates on foods high in fiber and complex carbohydrates. Some negative side effects include constipation and bloating and a possible serious side effect called ketosis.

Symptoms of ketosis include bad breath, dizziness, and tiredness and occur because there’s not enough glucose in the body. Ketosis can also result in kidney problems.

Most diets result in a few side effects, but some are more harmful than others. After all, you’re introducing some foods and schedules that your system is totally unfamiliar with. The best diet plan would be a plan that’s going to give you a balanced diet and still burn unwanted fat calories.

Some Updates About Me Before I start…

I just bout new set of Bose speakers to my Cadillac CTS Coupe they are unbelievable good!!!

Regarding the previous acne articles I wrote.. in my research for content I fount this site about best acne treatment over the counter .. I would like to know what do you think about his acne treatment reviews.

Are you one of the millions who suffer from an eczema skin problem? If so, you are not alone. Eczema is a very common skin problem throughout the world and can affect everyone from infants to older people. It is usually diagnosed by a doctor after a patient presents with patches of itchy, scaly skin. The patches are usually round and about the size of a coin. They will generally itch profusely to the point where they will start bleeding profusely if you scratch it too much.

You can have an eczema skin problem in just about every part of your body. Eczema even affects the scalp. Red, itchy skin is more common in the winter when there is little humidity in the air. It is also more common among the elderly who have weakened immune systems.

Another name for eczema is atopic dermatitis. Both conditions are the same and are one of the most frequent reasons why people visit a dermatologist. Most of the areas where you will develop an eczema skin problem are the insides of the elbows, behind the knees and on the hands. Older people generally develop eczema on their lower legs. Babies will develop baby eczema on their faces.

For the most part, an eczema skin problem is minor, although it does not feel that way to someone who is suffering from the condition. Someone who is suffering from an eczema skin problem, in addition to dealing with the soreness and itching will also feel uncomfortable being around other people if their skin lesions show. They may feel that other people are staring at them and may end up curtailing their social activities. When this happens, eczema can turn in to little problem to a big problem.

An eczema skin problem is generally not contagious. You do not have to fear spreading your eczema to other people. It will come and go periodically. Once you have eczema, you will most likely get it again, although the skin condition can go into remission for years.

If you develop an eczema skin problem that is characterized by circular rashes of itchy, flaky skin, you should see a dermatologist for a firm diagnosis. He or she will be able to prescribe remedies based upon the severity of your condition. Many dermatologists will prescribe an ointment that will relieve the itch. If the case is severe, they can also prescribe steroids, but only as a last resort. Steroids will clear up the condition within a matter of days for most people suffering from an eczema skin problem.

The most discouraging part of having an eczema skin condition is that you feel as though people are looking at you or that you will infect others. You can help yourself by boosting your immune system. No one knows what causes eczema, although a weakened immune system is a likely culprit. It will never hurt you to eat a healthy diet and exercise – two practices that can boost your immune system and, in addition with helping you stave off eczema outbreaks, also add years to your life.

TriClear is a three dimensional acne treatment system that addresses the key areas involved in the elimination of acne. TriClear features a comprehensive acne treatment system that includes a purifying cleanser, repair gel and a revitalizing cream. When these three agents are used together in the treatment of an acne problem, the results have been very positive.

Acne is a skin condition that is predominantly found in teenaged boys and girls. Hormones produced at the time of puberty release oils that tend to clog pores in nearly 85% of teenagers throughout the world. Adults are not immune from acne either as it does not miraculously disappear when individuals reach the age of 21. A bacterium infects the clogged pores which results in swelling and redness surrounding the area. At that point, acne begins to rear its ugly head and your complexion starts to be affected.

After fifty years of successes in Europe, the three dimensional concept was adapted and revolutionized in the United States. The end result has been a product with agents that that work together simultaneously to reduce the appearance of acne, to control the excessive production of oils, and to prevent future breakouts. In fact, the TriClear Qusome delivery system is so exceptional that it has received a U.S. patent due to the unique aspects of its ingredients.

In place of harmful chemicals such as benzoyl peroxide and alcohol based products that irritate and dry your skin, and set up a pattern of oil secretion that allows the acne skin condition to perpetuate, TriClear contains the latest in compound advancements, such as inflacin and silicol. These compounds are compatible with your natural skin texture so that your skin will not flake or dry, but it will maintain its moisture and return it to its natural state.

The triple-threat agents of TriClear work in an effective manner. There is a Clarifying Cleanser, oil and alcohol free, that penetrates deep into the skin to lift out dirt, oil and dead skin while the product’s natural botanical ingredients smoothes the skin, allowing it to begin the healing process. The second interactive agent is a silicol dioxide complex called Repair Gel that absorbs excess oils and promotes the repair and renewal of skin damage by acne. The third agent working in tandem with the other two is a light, white skin cream called Oil-Control Cream that moisturizes your skin. The salicylic acid in the cream reduces oil secretions while its nutrients hydrate the skin, preventing future episodes of breakouts.

TriClear has proven to be effective in eliminating acne and in preventing future occurrences. In recent tests with a sample of over 200 people with acne, over 755 of those tested said their acne was healed within the first week the system was employed; 91% reported pimple reduction; 69% noticed fewer blackheads; and 54% felt there was less oil production.

Rosacea is a skin disease that is common in adults age 30 to 50. While it is often referred to as acne rosacea, it is actually not acne, even though it shares some of its characteristics with acne. Acne rosacea targets both men and women, but seems to be more frequent in women, while more severe in men. People with very fair skin are most likely to suffer from acne rosacea.

What are the symptoms of acne rosacea?

Common symptoms of acne rosacea include redness affecting the middle areas of the face – the forehead, lower half of the nose and the chin. Pimples may occur, and this is why it is associated with acne. The persistent redness is the result of enlargement of the tiny blood vessels in these areas. As the vessels dilate, they create tiny red lines call telangiectasias. No blackheads or whiteheads are found with acne rosacea. When acne rosacea first develops, it may disappear after a time only to reappear later, possibly never returning to normal. Sometimes the nose may be affected rather severely, growing larger and becoming disfigured with bumps. This may require surgical intervention to remedy. The eyes may also be affected with a gritty, burning feeling. If the eyes are affected, treatment is necessary in order to avoid impaired vision.

What causes acne rosacea?

The cause is not known, but acne rosacea seems to be more common in people who blush very easily. Emotions like fear, stress, anxiety and embarrassment can trigger blushing and aggravate rosacea. Other factors such as sun exposure and weather changes like strong winds can cause a flare-up. There is also a tiny, microscopic mite that is sometimes found in hair follicles that may be a factor in acne rosacea. Medications such as vasodilators that cause blood vessels to widen may also play a part.

What can be done about acne rosacea?

Unfortunately, there is no cure, but acne rosacea can be controlled with proper care. Treatment may include both oral and topical medicines such as antibiotics or cortisone. Some doctors are using Retin_A and permethrin, both prescription medications for acne. And permthrin may be used if mites are suspected. Over the counter acne medications should not be used because of their harshness to skin that is already irritated.

What else can be done to treat acne rosacea?

It is important to try to avoid foods, drinks, medications and situations that will aggravate acne rosacea.

Don’t smoke

Avoid spicy foods

Avoid alcohol and hot beverages

Limit sun exposure and extreme temperatures

Avoid strong cortisone medications

How should I take care of my skin?

Wash with gentle cleansers that do not contain alcohol or harsh ingredients

Avoid rubbing the face

Be careful with cosmetics – they may aggravate redness and swelling

Always use a sunscreen of at least SPF 15

Use a gentle cover-up make up to help with the small red lines

Consider seeing a dermatologist to treat the red lines with surgery or laser

Acne rosacea is not a life-threatened disease, but it can cause embarrassment, and the loss of self-esteem and self-confidence. If you suspect you have acne rosacea, see your dermatologist or doctor. He or she will help you choose the best treatment plan. Be sure to follow the basic guidelines presented here as your first defense and remember that while not curable, acne roscacea is treatable, giving you the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life.

You’ve got acne and you’re not happy about it! Who can blame you? It doesn’t matter if you are a teen, or your are well into your adult years, acne is unwelcome when it shows up and everybody wants to find ways to get rid of acne fast! You’ve probably read all the information about what causes acne, but once again, let’s look at the causes and then move on to what you can do about finding ways to get rid of acne.

Causes of acne

Without spending a lot of time, let’s list the possible causes of acne. Note that the actual cause of acne is not known; the things listed here are more the conditions that will aggravate your body to produce acne lesions. Knowing what these things are will help you figure out how to get rid of acne.

Hormones

Over active sebaceous glands

Perspiration

Tight Clothing

Detergents and other irritants

Stress

Poor nutrition (while this won’t cause a breakout, it is a culprit in the body not being able to effectively fight infection)

Some medications

Acne outbreaks occur when pores on any part of your body, but usually your face, get clogged with sebum (produced by sebaceous glands), and old skin cells, and then become irritated and infected. This can result in the formation of pus, which further clogs and inflames pores. Acne may come in the form of blackheads whiteheads, pustules, cysts and nodules. Now that you have the causes of acne, let’s learn how to get rid of acne.

Acne Treatment and Prevention

Sometimes acne can be successfully treated with some changes in habits and a good over-the-counter anti-acne gel or kit. If acne is severe enough, you may need the help of your doctor or dermatologist. Before you make your doctor appointment, try these suggestions (remember that any best acne treatment is going to take four to six weeks before you see changes):

Gently cleanse the affected areas twice a day with a soap made especially for acne.

If the acne is on your face, be sure to use make-up and moisturizers that are non-comedogenic.

Use an over-the-counter acne gel or cream or a good anti-acne kit to treat your pimples. You must be consistent with cleansing and treatment.

If you are an adolescent, or a woman nearing perimenopause, your acne may be the result of hormonal swings. Check with your doctor.

Where clothing that is lose and comfortable and that breathes.

If you exercise and perspire to excess, shower as soon as possible and put on clean, dry clothing.

If the acne is on your body, change your laundry detergent to a mild one with no fragrances or additives.

If you suspect your acne breakouts are stress related, find ways to reduce stress and make relaxation a part of your daily life.

Eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water. This is important for your body to function optimally.

If your acne is severe and you are not able to treat it yourself, see your doctor, he or she may prescribe medications that can help or may use other techniques to get rid of acne.

Don’t let acne become a regular part of your life. It can be effectively treated, and with proper treatment comes prevention. You can get rid of acne by using the steps in this article, or you can ask for help from your doctor. Good luck!
